DELTA GAMMA SOCIAL LIFE The fall semi-formal dance, our Crème Rose Formal (winter quarter), and our spring semi-formal dinner honoring our graduating seniors are the cornerstones of our chapter's social calendar. Other social activities include groups of sisters attending school sport events, going to the pool and beach, and meeting for lunches and dinners on campus. Date events are planned with themes such as NBA, Zoot Suit Riot, SS DG, and Barn Dance. Separate Mother's Weekend and Father's Weekend activities give parents the opportunity to see the house and campus, and to meet chapter members and other DG parents while bonding with their DG daughter.
JUNIOR YEAR ABROAD Almost half of Santa Clara University students -- including Delta Gammas -- study abroad during their junior year. Our members help fill-in their sisters who are preparing to study abroad with practical advice and care packages while they are away. Our chapter warmly welcomes returning juniors, helping them to more easily reintegrate back into campus life, with planned gatherings of newly-returned and newly-initiated members, Big/Little Sis events and time to hear their stories of study abroad.
ACADEMICS Delta Gamma is proud that our chapter has maintained at least a 3.2 Chapter Cumulative GPA for the last 15 academic quarters and has celebrated at least half a dozen 4.0 scholars each term. With such a diverse spectrum of majors among our members, there is always support for you.
